Arias flipped Lee off when he was just about to propose. He asked her anyway!
Lee and Arias met at the Crystal Cove Cottages. Unbeknownst to them, they had rented adjoining rooms that and shared a wall.
Lee overheard Arias speaking with long-time family friends Dave and Deb, and he must have liked what he heard! He waited in the shared kitchen area for hours, waiting for the chance to meet the woman he had heard through the wall.
When they finally did meet the following day, Arias was clueless. Lee kept talking with her until finally, after about 30 minutes, he had her undivided attention.
They traded in their two little rooms for a beautiful shared cottage – with two rooms. Lee brought back dinner and champagne, they walked along the beach and talked for hours.
The next day they decided to be exclusive and after many twists and turns over the past 4 years, they are both still in awe that they found one another.
After two years of being together, they booked a one-month trip to Bali! During the last part of their stay, Lee surprised Arias by taking her to an eco-resort in the middle of the jungle.
Lee booked a waterfall – yes you can book a waterfall in Bali and after they walked down to the banks Arias flipped Lee off multiple times saying that THIS IS TOO ROMANTIC NOT TO PROPOSE! That’s when Lee went down on one knee and asked Arias to be his wife.
When Covid hit, they postponed the wedding day until it was safe for local friends and family to gather! They could not be more excited to do the damn thing! THE DAY IS ALMOST HERE!
