Here’s what we’re doing about COVID.
So how about that COVID, huh? We’ve had a hard time figuring out what the hell to do about COVID. Can it just be over already?!
We previously postponed our wedding in June of last year due to COVID and now cases are on the rise 🙁
The goal of this message is to tell you — someone we deeply care about and are inviting to our wedding — what to expect when you attend. This is our attempt to help make attending our wedding in the time of COVID easier, and we thank you for your generosity, kindness, and patience as we do our best to start our marriage while also prioritizing health, safety, and joy.
Here’s what you can expect at our wedding:
Our wedding will be hosted with a vaccine boundary. This means all guests and vendors will be fully vaccinated. Vendors serving food and in close contact with guests will be wearing masks. Proof of vaccination will not be required ( honor system y’all ) since we’re having a small wedding made up of people we know, love and trust. We will be taking temperatures at the door the day of the wedding. Unfortunately, anyone with a temperature will not be able to attend.
We understand that the situation above may make your attendance of our wedding in-person impossible. This deeply saddens us because we love you and will miss you, but as much as we want to start our marriage with you present, we want you to stay safe more. We hope that by starting this conversation early, we can discuss what works best for all of us.
* If the above is something you are available to do, please RSVP “Yes” on the RSVP form on our website ariasandlee.com
* If the above is NOT something you are available to do, please RSVP “No” on our website ariasandlee.com. We completely understand.
* If the above is something you’re not sure you are available to do, please contact Arias at ariascollins@gmail.com or Lee at leeshadle@gmail.com directly.
Thank you again so much for your love and support. This has been — and remains — an extremely difficult time and we so value all of the empathy and grace you have given us as we do our best to start our marriage in a way that doesn’t endanger the lives of those we love best in the world. Thank you and we look forward to hearing from you.
With Love,
Arias and Lee
